Exploring the Hadley Delta on the Moon

Astronaut and mission commander of the Apollo 15 mission to the moon, David R. Scott, studies a boulder on the slope of Hadley Delta with help of the lunar rover as part of NASA’s moon landing mission.

The twelve day Apollo 15 space mission was commanded by David Scott and also included Lunar Module Pilot James Irwin and Alfred Worden piloted the Command Module.  Scott and Irwin spent three days on the Moon conducted numerous scientific experiments including eighteen hours outside on the Moon’s surface.
